2.) What city or cities have you been to in Tennessee? Chattanooga (for school and work), Hixson, and Harrison.

4.) You mentioned that you went to Tennessee for school what was the school like that you went to? It reminded me of a bunch of college students who acted like they were in Junior high and high school and the people who were over the college didn't act that much better in my honest opinion.
5.) Was there anything that you liked about the school that you went to in the Volunteer State? The only bright spot was that I enjoyed working for my boss for the school that hired me but other than that not really.
6.) You mentioned that you went to Tennessee for work. Did you work Part-time or Full-time? Part-time but worked Full-time hours during time off from school.
7.) Did you go to any restaurants when you were in the Volunteer State? Yes.
8.) Name the restaurants that you remember going to in the Volunteer State. City Café in Chattanooga (I always tipped big because a lot of friendly waitresses waited on me), Krystal Burger in Nashville (Restaurant stop driving from Kansas City, MO), and The Olive Garden in Hixson (before I came back to Bloomfield, CT).
9.) What was it like working for your boss in the Volunteer State? The first boss I worked for was really cool. She told me the first time I started working for her to dress up in clothes that I can get messy in and to bring her my class schedule so I can do my hours. I clocked in at the time I could work and clocked out when I was done. I was one of the Janitors so I did Janitorial work the whole time that I worked for my boss. Whenever I had school projects that I had to do for school my boss would say to me, "Do your projects because school is more important!" My boss was very understanding and she had that respect for all of her employees like me.
10.) You seem to have the favor of God no matter where you go. How are you able to be so blessed to have so much favor when you go places? People can sense and observe that I'm God fearing, trustworthy, humble, quiet, bold, and the Lord always sends people across my path to be a blessing to me like Mr. Tommy, the Wirth's, and the Leatherman's; they were such a blessing to me when I went to Chattanooga.
11.) Did you go to church when you went to the Volunteer State? Yes all of the college students were required to go to Highland Park Baptist Church (In my honest opinion we should have been able to go to whatever church we wanted to).
12.) What people were a positive influence on you while you were in Chattanooga? The Leatherman's, the late Ms. June Temple, Ms. Melita (my first boss that I worked for in Chattanooga), and Dr. Ben Tate (who preached at Chapel). Dr. Ben Tate autographed one of his books for me asked me, "Are you married?" I remember responding, "Not yet." Dr. Ben Tate said, "You will be!" I was in total agreement and said, "Amen!"
13.) Did you work anywhere else when you were in the Volunteer State? Yes.
14.) What type of work did you do? I did volunteer work where I was in maintenance at Camp Joy in Harrison.
15.) What was the job like? Very stressful because I had 3 different bosses telling me to do a million things & I was used to having a schedule when I worked. I put up with this stressful work for 5 weeks until one of my bosses' really crossed the line and that caused me to quit.
16.) Do you have any regrets standing up to your boss at camp joy? No. I was run out of the school I went to. I mainly left the school that I went to because it was not Accredited & that I am not one bit ashamed of doing. I was then run out of camp joy for doing volunteer work that I tried to show my boss, all the other workers, and fellow classmates at the school that there were no hard feelings and when my boss told me that she could find someone who could do better than me at a job I spent 5 weeks out of my summer to do out of state I knew that enough was enough and that is why I quit. The only regrets that I have is that I was not more upfront how I felt.
17.) Who is your biggest inspiration when it comes to standing up to a boss who is mistreating you? My mom because she would call me 3 times a day while I was in Harrison and I would tell my mom that when I feel like they is trying to use me and I'm fed up with how they are treating me then that is when I will quit and get me a one way ticket to fly back to Hartford.
18.) If you were to visit Tennessee what city or cities or if they are none why none would you visit? Gatlinburg. I hear how beautiful it is there but I enjoyed going to the Riverbend in Chattanooga. To be honest, I can't say what city or cities that I would visit in Tennessee if I was to visit Tennessee again.
19.) What made you first come to the Volunteer State? 20.) If you had another free voucher what state would go to? The state where church & work is convenient for me.
21.) If you rated the Volunteer State experience on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being you really didn't like it and 10 being you really like it how would you rate it? I'm going to go with 8.
